Circumstances of disappearance: Nancy left her job in the Department of Ecology in Lacey, Washington on Friday evening, carpooling with a co-worker who she drove home. She then drove to the Thriftway Supermarket in Tenino, a short distance from her home, where she purchased food, wine and cigarettes. The following Sunday, her family arrived at her house to find the front door wide open and Nancy nowhere to be seen.
